Gherardo Piacitelli - ScienceMy research interests are Quantum Physics, Quantum Field Theory and Spacetime Quantisation; mathematically this means to work with linear functional analysis and its abstract counterpart, the theory of operator algebras. I belong to the Operator Algebra Group CV (very short version) I was born in 1966 in Rome, where I took the high school in humanities, and I graduated in Physics (V.O.). I got the PhD in Mathematics in Padua; afterwards I taught exercises in analysis to first and second years engineering students, I got a two years Postdoc position in Rome, I visited twice the Hamburg University. I then left research for one year, since I got a permanent job as a teacher in Italian high school; back to research on leave of absence from the school for one year, I now again earn my living as a math teacher at the ISIS of Latisana.
